Summary Between 15:45 UTC on 29 October and 00:05 UTC on 30 October 2025, a global outage within Microsoft Azure Front Door (AFD) affected multiple Microsoft services and customers worldwide. As we host parts of our platform within Azure, this incident also impacted the availability and performance of our service during that time.

While systems have now stabilised and normal performance has largely returned, a small number of customers may still experience intermittent connectivity or latency as Microsoft completes final recovery work.

What Happened Microsoft confirmed that the disruption was caused by an inadvertent configuration change within Azure Front Door, which affected traffic routing across a large number of Azure nodes. This led to timeouts, slow loading, and connection errors for services dependent on AFD, including ours.

Microsoft temporarily blocked further configuration changes, restored a “last known good” configuration across their global infrastructure, and gradually rebalanced network traffic to restore normal operation.

Impact to Our Customers

  • During the affected window, some users may have noticed:
  • Slow loading times or failed connections
  • Temporary errors when accessing parts of our service
  • Brief interruptions in data synchronisation or integrations

All core services have now recovered, and we continue to monitor performance closely to ensure stability.

Next Steps Microsoft has identified and fixed the faulty deployment process that caused the issue and implemented additional safeguards to prevent recurrence.

We’re also conducting our own internal retrospective to evaluate how our systems and communications performed during the outage and where we can strengthen resilience further.

Thank You We appreciate your patience and understanding during this global incident. Our teams are continuing to monitor the situation closely and will provide further updates if required.

Updated

We’re aware of an ongoing issue with Microsoft Azure Front Door (AFD) that is currently affecting parts of our service. Microsoft has rolled back to a stable configuration, and early signs of recovery are being observed. They’re continuing to restore affected systems and reroute traffic through healthy nodes, which should result in gradual improvement.

Access to the Azure management portal has also been restored following Microsoft’s mitigation efforts, though some areas (such as the Marketplace) may still experience intermittent issues.

We’re continuing to monitor the situation closely and will share further updates as they become available.

Thank you for your patience while Microsoft works to fully resolve this incident.
